This webinar, hosted by the National District Attorney's Association (NDAA), will provide practical and creative strategies for keeping kids in school and out of court.

Presenters will discuss research on causes of chronic absenteeism, the role of schools and juvenile courts in truancy prevention and intervention, and models/trends involving local prosecutors and probation offices in responding to truancy and other status offenses.

Panelists will provide examples of evidence-based programs and practices that effectively reduce absenteeism.

OJJDP's National Training and Technical Assistance Center will share registration information with NDAA for CLE credit purposes.
